Overview
In Abomination: The Heir of Frankenstein, you take on the role of a 19th-century scientist in Paris, driven by ambition and perhaps a touch of madness, to recreate the infamous Creature. As a protege of Victor Frankenstein, you have access to his notes and some resources, but you need to experiment and procure further materials to achieve your goal. Compete against other scientists by strategically deploying your assistants to various locations around the city to gather components, research forbidden knowledge, and even engage in unsavory acts.
The core of the game lies in the careful management of your workforce and resources. Each round presents difficult decisions about which actions to prioritize: exhume bodies from the cemetery, scavenge for parts in the butcher's shop, or seek out scientific insights at the university. A unique lab phase allows players to work simultaneously on their creations, attempting to bring them to life before the others. You must balance your humanity and ethics against the ruthless pursuit of your scientific endeavors, which makes the game full of moral choices.
