Overview

In Alhambra, players compete to build the most magnificent palace complex by acquiring and placing building tiles. Each player starts with a central fountain tile and must strategically purchase and arrange buildings using one of four different currencies. The market offers a selection of building tiles, and players must carefully manage their hand of currency cards to acquire the tiles they need to expand their Alhambra.

The core gameplay revolves around drafting currency cards, purchasing buildings, and placing those buildings within your personal Alhambra board. The game features multiple scoring rounds that reward players for having the most buildings of each type, as well as for having the longest continuous outer wall. Purchasing a building with an exact currency match allows you to take another turn. The player who constructs the most impressive and valuable Alhambra by the end of the game wins.
