Description
In Android: Netrunner, one player takes on the role of a powerful corporation, safeguarding their valuable data behind layers of security. The other player becomes a resourceful runner, a hacker attempting to infiltrate the corporation's servers and steal its secrets.

The game is an asymmetrical duel, where the corporation builds server defenses using ice (icebreaker countermeasures), and the runner uses programs and hardware to crack those defenses and access the data. The corporation scores by advancing agendas, while the runner scores by stealing those agendas. The tension lies in the constant cat-and-mouse game of bluffing, resource management, and strategic timing, as each side tries to outwit the other and achieve their objectives before time runs out.
