Overview

In Celestia, players embark on a series of voyages aboard an airship, hoping to reach distant cities and claim their treasures. Each player starts with a hand of cards and, as the journey progresses, one player takes on the role of the captain, rolling dice to determine the challenges the airship faces.

The captain then reveals a combination of hazard cards - like storms, birds, or pirates - and the players must decide whether to stay on board or disembark in the current city, claiming its (less valuable) treasures. If players stay on board, they must trust the captain to overcome the dangers. The captain plays cards from their hand to negate the hazards. If the captain can't overcome the hazards, the airship crashes, and all remaining players lose the opportunity to claim treasures further along the route.
