Overview

Cockroach Poker is a game of escalating deception where players try to stick each other with unwanted critters. Each turn, you secretly choose a card from your hand depicting a cockroach, rat, stink bug, or one of several other unsavory creatures, then pass it face down to another player, declaring what you believe it to be. That player then has a choice: either call your bluff and reveal the card to see if you were telling the truth, or pass the card on to another player after either claiming you are lying or telling the truth about the creature on the card.

If someone incorrectly calls a bluff, they must keep the revealed card face up in front of them. The game continues until a player has four cards of the same type in front of them, or until a player runs out of cards to pass. The goal isn't to collect sets yourself, but to cleverly manipulate and mislead your opponents into collecting them! The constant second-guessing, bold-faced lies, and the shifting alliances create a hilarious and engaging experience, perfect for testing your friends' poker faces and your own ability to detect a good old-fashioned fib.
