Overview

Codenames Duet tasks you and your partner with identifying all your secret agents hidden amongst a grid of words. Unlike the original Codenames, this is a cooperative experience where you're both working together to find the right words while avoiding the deadly assassin. You and your partner each have a key card that shows which words are your agents, which are the assassin, and which are neutral bystanders. The catch? Only you know the key for your side, and your partner knows the key for their side.

Each turn, one player gives a one-word clue and a number, indicating how many words relate to that clue. Your partner then attempts to identify the correct words. Success brings you closer to victory, but a wrong guess could lead you to the assassin, ending the game immediately. With careful planning and communication, you can navigate the grid and successfully identify all your agents before running out of turns.
