Overview

In Concordia, players lead Roman dynasties expanding across the Mediterranean, building trade networks, settling cities, and gaining favor from the gods. Each player begins with the same set of cards, which are used to take actions and score points, but new cards can be acquired throughout the game, shaping each player’s strategy.

With no dice or luck-based mechanics, Concordia rewards long-term planning and careful observation of opponents. Players send colonists to gather resources like bricks, wine, and cloth, and build houses in cities to expand their economic reach. The game ends when all cards are purchased or a player builds their 15th house, and the winner is determined by the victory points earned through god-specific scoring conditions tied to their cards.
