Overview
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong places players in a scene of crime and investigation, but with a twist. One player is the Forensic Scientist, offering cryptic clues to the Investigators about the murder weapon and cause of death. However, hidden among the Investigators are the Murderer and their Accomplice, who are actively trying to mislead the investigation.
Players must carefully analyze the Forensic Scientist's clues and the statements of their fellow Investigators to deduce the truth, while the Murderer and Accomplice sow seeds of doubt and red herrings. The game is a tense balance of deduction, bluffing, and social interaction, where trust is a valuable but scarce commodity.
