Description

Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of Ashardalon plunges players into a cooperative adventure within a monster-filled dungeon. Players choose unique hero characters, each with their own special abilities, and work together to explore a modular board representing the ever-shifting caverns beneath a volcanic spire. The gameplay revolves around exploring the dungeon, battling monsters revealed through card draws, and completing scenario-specific objectives.

Combat is resolved through dice rolling, while movement is determined by a grid system. The modular board ensures that each play session offers a unique layout and challenges, enhancing replayability. Ultimately, players must cooperate to overcome the dangers within and defeat the red dragon Ashardalon, before the dungeon overwhelms them.
