Overview

In Friday, you take on the role of Friday, aiding Robinson Crusoe in surviving on a deserted island. You'll use a deck-building mechanic to help Crusoe overcome the various hazards of the island, from simple hunger to dangerous natives. Each round, you'll face new challenges represented by cards, and you must decide which cards from your hand to play in order to defeat them. Successful challenges remove negative cards from Crusoe's deck, representing his increasing skill and resilience.

Failed attempts add aging cards, weakening Crusoe as time goes on. The core loop revolves around managing your hand, strategically using cards, and deciding when to sacrifice cards to remove more dangerous obstacles. The game ends when either Robinson Crusoe dies or you manage to prepare him to face the pirates, making for a tense and rewarding solitaire experience.
