Fromage

In Fromage, 1-4 players take simultaneous turns placing their three workers into their own section of a giant, rotating cheese wheel. Once everyone has selected their actions, the wheel rotates and workers are retrieved, ready to be used again in a new section of the wheel. When the worker is retrieved depends on how long it is committed to the action: the better the action, the longer the commitment. As a rule: once a worker faces you, it can be picked up.

There are two types of actions: the primary focus is making cheeses. Cheese is worth victory points at the end of the game and the criteria for scoring is different in each section of the wheel: some score for area majorities, others score for adjacencies, etc. The other action is taking resources. A different resources can be picked up in each sector and each resource gives players ways to make more valuable types of cheese.

Altogether , Fromage is a fantastically efficient game with a lot of strategy condensed into a short period of time while everyone takes turns simultaneously.
