Overview

In Glass Road, you become a 13th-century glassmaker and brickmaker in the Bavarian Forest, carefully managing your resources and optimizing your production chains. Each round, you simultaneously select five Specialist cards from your hand of fifteen, hoping to trigger their powerful abilities. However, only the Specialists chosen by at least one other player in the game will actually activate for you, forcing you to anticipate your opponents' strategies and second-guess their choices. Building landscapes like forests and ponds, and acquiring structures like windmills and peat huts, are crucial for unlocking new resources and production bonuses, steadily expanding your glassworks and brickyards.

The heart of Glass Road lies in its delicate balance of resource management, strategic foresight, and a touch of bluffing. Successfully guessing which Specialists your opponents will play and capitalizing on their actions grants you a significant advantage. Deciding when to focus on brick production versus glass production is a constant balancing act, as both are needed to construct buildings that further enhance your capabilities. The shifting landscape and the unpredictable actions of your competitors create a dynamic and engaging experience where careful planning and adaptability are the keys to mastering the art of glassmaking.
