Overview
Go is a classic abstract strategy game for two players, centered around claiming territory by surrounding vacant areas on the board with your stones. Players alternate placing black and white stones on the intersections of a 19x19 grid. The objective is to control more territory than your opponent.
Stones or groups of stones completely surrounded by the opponent's stones are captured and removed from the board, adding to the complexity and strategic depth. The game ends when both players pass consecutively, signifying that no further strategic placements are possible. Scoring involves counting the territory controlled by each player, with captured stones also contributing to the final tally.
