Overview

Harmonies is a light, 1-4 player, tile-placing game that feels something like a cross between Azul and Calico. The objective of the game is to score the most points by attracting animals to habitats that are built on your player board. Let’s break a turn down into three steps:

Step 1, choose a set of three tokens and place the tokens on your board. A few intuitive placement rules must be followed: for instance, mountains and trees can be formed by stacking appropriate tokens, while rivers and plains are always single -layer.

Step 2. Optionally, choose an animal card. Each card depicts the landscape that attracts that animal.

Step 3, at any time, place any animals whose landscape has been satisfied.

At the end of the game, animals are tallied and points are awarded for the various sizes of resulting physical features.

The fun of this game is all about stacking numerous objectives and satisfying as many as you can by leveraging luck, careful planning, and clever card drafting.
