Overview

Inis is a game set in ancient Ireland where players vie to become High King of the island. Players expand their clans across the land, explore territories, and perform deeds inspired by Celtic myths. The core gameplay revolves around drafting action cards each round, which dictate movement, construction of citadels, and the ability to perform epic deeds.

Players navigate a modular board, revealing new regions and battling for dominance in key areas. Victory is achieved by fulfilling one of three conditions: controlling a majority of sanctuaries (spiritual dominance), having clans present in at least six territories (territorial dominance), or being the chosen chieftain by controlling a capital territory and having the support of at least six clans (leadership dominance). Careful management of your hand, shrewd area control, and a keen sense of timing are crucial to outmaneuvering your opponents and claiming the throne of Inis.
