Overview

In Living Forest, players take on the roles of nature spirits racing to protect the sacred forest from the spreading flames of Onibi. Each turn, you'll simultaneously reveal animal guardians from your personal deck, carefully balancing the desire for powerful combinations against the risk of revealing too many solitary guardians, which could hinder your actions.

Using your gathered guardians, you'll choose from a variety of actions, such as planting trees to restore the forest, extinguishing fires to slow Onibi's advance, or collecting sacred flowers to awaken the forest's ancient spirits. The first player to achieve one of three different victory conditions – planting twelve trees, extinguishing twelve fires, or collecting twelve sacred flowers – immediately wins the game, forcing players to adapt their strategies and capitalize on opportunities as they arise.
