Description

Mariposas is a game about the incredible multi-generational migration of monarch butterflies across North America. Players guide their families of butterflies, seeking out the best habitats for breeding and collecting nectar from various flowers along the way. The game unfolds on a map of the eastern United States and southern Canada, represented by a hexagon grid.

Each round, you'll strategically move your butterflies across the map, aiming to complete life cycle goals and score points. Collecting specific sets of flower tokens is crucial for earning bonuses and advancing your butterfly families. The game beautifully simulates the butterfly's life cycle, challenging you to balance short-term nectar gathering with long-term migration goals to achieve the most successful butterfly lineage.
