The Operation Electronic Board Game combines the classic gameplay with modern updates, including an all-in-one carrying case and two ways to play. In Hospital mode, players follow the instructions on cards to remove Cavity Sam's ailments. In Emergency mode, players race against the clock to remove the ailments, triggering funny sound effects when they touch the sides of the cavities. Cavity Sam has a modernized look and includes updated and classic ailments, such as 'Glued to His Phone' and 'Frog in His Throat'.
