Pan Am
In Pan Am, players compete to build their own airline empires while also investing in the iconic Pan American World Airways. Each round, players bid for route licenses using worker placement, strategically positioning their agents to secure lucrative destinations. As players expand their networks, they generate income, which can be used to further develop their airlines and acquire Pan Am stock.
However, the game takes an interesting turn when Pan Am itself expands. Each time Pan Am adds routes, it buys back routes from other players, providing them with cash and potentially disrupting their carefully laid plans. The ultimate goal is to accumulate the most wealth through a combination of airline profits and Pan Am stock holdings, creating a dynamic and engaging economic simulation of the golden age of air travel.
