Description

Photosynthesis is a strategic game where players cultivate a forest by planting, growing, and eventually completing the life cycle of trees. Players spend action points to perform actions like planting seeds, growing seedlings into saplings, and maturing saplings into full-grown trees. Careful planning is crucial as larger trees cast shadows, blocking sunlight from smaller trees and hindering their growth.

The game revolves around earning light points, which are awarded based on the size of the tree when it collects sunlight. The sun rotates around the board, changing which trees receive light each round. Players must balance expanding their forest with strategically positioning their trees to maximize sunlight capture and prevent opponents from doing the same. Mastering the interplay between tree placement, light, and shadow is key to achieving photosynthetic supremacy.
