Overview

In Race for the Galaxy, players develop galactic civilizations by strategically playing cards representing worlds, technologies, and developments. Each round, players secretly and simultaneously choose one of five phases to enact: Explore, Develop, Settle, Consume, or Produce. These choices determine which actions will occur, and players who selected a phase often gain a bonus.

The core of the game lies in efficient hand management and anticipating your opponents' actions. You'll need to carefully manage your resources, develop beneficial technologies, and colonize valuable planets to build a thriving space empire and ultimately score the most victory points before the galaxy runs out of opportunities.
