Overview

In Res Arcana, you embody a mage striving for dominance by mastering the essences of magic: Life, Death, Elan, Calm, and Gold. The core of the game lies in efficiently managing your hand of just eight artifact cards, using them to generate these essences, acquire powerful places of power and monuments, and ultimately score victory points.

Each round is a race to leverage your unique combination of artifacts, carefully choosing when to pass in order to gain turn order advantages and deny resources to your opponents. Careful planning and a bit of 'take that' interaction through card effects create a dynamic and engaging experience where every decision matters.
