Description
In Splendor, you become a wealthy Renaissance merchant, acquiring gem mines, transportation, and storefronts. Each turn, you'll either collect gem tokens, purchase development cards using those gems, or reserve a card for later purchase. Development cards not only provide victory points, but also grant persistent discounts on future purchases, creating a powerful engine for acquiring even more valuable cards.
The game ends when a player reaches 15 prestige points. Then, the player with the most prestige points wins, proving themselves the most successful merchant of the Renaissance. Quick to learn but strategically deep, Splendor offers engaging gameplay with meaningful choices in a compact time frame.
