Overview

In The Gallerist, you assume the role of a burgeoning art dealer in the 19th century. Your goal is to build your gallery into a thriving hub of artistic activity, attracting visitors, showcasing talented artists, and ultimately, becoming the most successful gallerist of the era. Each turn, you'll send your limited number of workers to various locations to discover and promote artists, buy and sell artwork, attract influential visitors to your gallery, and expand your international influence.

The core gameplay revolves around carefully managing your actions and resources. Speculating on the art market is key, buying low and selling high to maximize your profits. Successfully exhibiting and selling art will generate income and prestige, helping you attract more visitors and gain an edge over your competitors. Ultimately, the player who best manages their gallery and leverages the art market will be crowned the most successful gallerist.
