Description
Unmatched: Cobble & Fog plunges you into Victorian London’s shadowed streets, where iconic figures of fantasy and horror clash in tactical combat. Each player controls a unique hero – Sherlock Holmes, Dracula, Jekyll & Hyde, or the Invisible Man – each possessing a distinctive deck of cards and special abilities that dictate their play style. The game unfolds on a meticulously designed map, with players strategically maneuvering their miniatures using movement points, seeking advantageous positions to launch attacks. The core gameplay revolves around playing cards from your hand to initiate attacks, defenses, and special maneuvers, carefully managing your resources to outwit your opponent.

Conflict resolution is handled through card comparisons, where the values and effects of your played card are weighed against your opponent’s defense. Predicting their moves and exploiting their weaknesses is key to victory. As the battle intensifies, each hero's unique powers come to the forefront, creating dynamic and unpredictable scenarios. Sherlock’s deduction skills allow him to manipulate the odds, while Dracula’s vampiric powers grant him strength and resilience. The Invisible Man's stealth lets him strike from unexpected angles, and Jekyll & Hyde's dual nature presents a constant shift in abilities. Playing feels like a high-stakes chess match, blending strategic planning with the thrill of discovering hidden strengths and exploiting vulnerabilities in a thematic and engaging Victorian setting.
