Description

In Pax Porfiriana, players navigate the tumultuous political and economic landscape of late 19th-century Mexico, vying for influence during the reign of Porfirio Díaz. Through card drafting, you'll build your network of Patrons and issue edicts, attempting to control key aspects of the country such as the Church, the Military, and Industry. Careful management of your resources and strategic alliances are essential as you aim to either seize power or destabilize the regime for personal gain.

The game is a complex simulation that balances economic engine-building with political maneuvering. You must react to unpredictable events and changing allegiances as you compete against rival factions. The challenge lies in adapting your strategy, anticipating your opponents' moves, and ultimately shaping the destiny of Mexico to your advantage.
