Overview

In The Resistance, players are members of either a Resistance group fighting against a corrupt government or spies trying to sabotage their efforts. The game revolves around assigning players to missions, but the catch is that the spies are hidden within the group and will attempt to fail these missions.

Each round, players propose teams and then vote on whether those teams should go on a mission. Players on the mission then secretly decide to succeed or fail the mission. If enough fail cards are played, the mission fails. The Resistance challenges players to read each other, deduce who the spies are, and convince others to trust them – or not!
