Overview

In The Resistance: Avalon, players are members of King Arthur's court, some loyal and some treacherous, secretly working for Mordred. Each round, players must decide which quests to send a team on. The loyal knights must succeed in enough quests to save Avalon, while the minions of Mordred must sabotage them. Success hinges on deduction, deception, and a keen eye for who can be trusted.

The core gameplay revolves around voting on teams for each quest and then voting on whether those quests succeed or fail. Loyal players can only vote for success, while traitors can vote for failure, creating tension and uncertainty. As the quests play out, players analyze the results and each other's behavior, trying to discern who is truly loyal and who is a traitor in disguise. The game is filled with bluffing, accusations, and moments of shocking revelation, making for a thrilling social deduction experience.
